My Biography ( with Greene County Schools )

I became part of the Greene County School Family in 1991 when I returned to my Alma Mater as Head Football and Baseball coach. While at North Greene High School I taught several disciplines of Math as well as English. I also taught a semester of Economics. I left NGHS in 2004 and moved down the road to become a Dragon at Baileyton where I taught Math and ELA for grades 6-8 as well as coached football, baseball and softball for varying lengths of time. 

 

During the Fall of 2020 I once again became a Huskey but this time at North Greene Middle School. I will be teaching a class called CTE. This class focuses on Career Explorations and S.T.E.M.. S.T.E.M. will focus on hands on projects.

 

I am married to Donna Bailey. We are the proud parents of 3 wonderful children : Tyler teacher/coach @ NGMS, Talley teacher in training and Turner college student/basketball player at Warren Wilson College.

 

I also am fortunate enough to be the grandfather of a beautiful granddaughter, Taelynn Ray Bailey as well as handsome grandson Greyden Lee Bailey.

 

During school year 2023-24 I made a change in both my location and job title. I am now the CTE Career Coach at CDHS and CDMS. This position allows me to help prepare students in their chosen career pathway.
