About Me
Hi! My name is AnaLisa Jaynes Wilson, and I teach 7th grade science at North Greene Middle School. I grew up in Rose Hill in Lee County, Virginia. I attended Lincoln Memorial University for two years before moving to Bristol, Tennessee and transferring to King College (now King University). I graduated from King in 1996 with a B.A. degree in Behavioral Science. In 2000, I was hired by Greene County School to be a 4th grade teacher at Ottway. Two years later, I chose to try 7th-8th social studies and science, where I discovered a love for teaching middle school science and where I have been ever since! I later returned to school and attended Union College (Barbourville, KY; Master degree in Educational Leadership) and later Lincoln Memorial University (Harrogate, TN; Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction).
I am currently in my 21st year of teaching at North Greene Middle/Ottway and this really feels like home to me. There are wonderful things going on at NGMS every day and I am so fortunate and blessed to be a part of of that.
